      Wow, they totally spoiled Spock's death in Trek II, and before the age of the internet... couldn't they keep a lid on it? I love how E.T. on the other hand was well hidden from the preview footage.

      1982 was an amazing year. They left out Road Warrior and I'm sure some others. I had the Starlog yearbook from that year, and every page was a winner.

        1982 was the best year for the genre ever. It was one classic after the other. Left on a deserted island with only movies from 82, I'd be ok with that...

            Dang, I wish they would release all of these to the theater now, I'd go see this line up for sure! Heck I bet I'd go a couple of times.

            I've always wanted to buy one of our local long shuttered movie theaters and just show classic movies there. There's generations of people that haven't had the chance to see some of the best movies as they were meant to be seen. I was able to catch Jaws in the limited showing they did recently and loved it! The theater was packed too with people clapping etc....
