Big Bang Pow Cylon modified on S-type body

Finally converted the Big Bang Pow Battlestar Galactica Cylon over to a S-type Body and NOW he is fully poseable and can actually hold his rifle properly.Repainted some area's and added the Red Cylon EYE.Carefully cracked/cut the main armor piece and put back together.Head is attached/secured by Mounting Putty.Hands are painted black S-type hands.Starbuck and Apollo are also on S-type bodied with modified forearms for compatibility.Anybody that owns the BSG Cylon knows it was poorly made/engineered and could not pose at all.Now it's fixed

It's a shame though, that you have to do that much work to a brand new figure just to make it functional.

That's how I felt about others like Starbuck and Apollo.
At first I went: "OK, if I put them on another body. Maybe shrink the heads. Re-tailor the clothes. Re-do the helmet."
You realize that basically means changing everything. So I sold mine.
BBP set its sights very high, and then it all went kinda wrong.

Awesome fix to a figure that everyone was excited to buy....until they took him out of the plastic. Now he can move. Looks great.

As much as I love the boys at BBP, the figures were horrid!

But, rather than rehash all of their faults, I'm glad we got these figures.

I just wish we could have gotten Boomer, Colonel Tigh, Sheba, Iblis, Cassieopaia, a Nomen, and the Imperious Leader.

looks good, the oversized heads of the other figures killed it for me from the start, so I don't own any of these and I was really looking forward to them, it's a shame
