I'm anxious to hear too. But so far, nothing.

Come on Super 7, painted versions of these I would really get into.

I think they're currently busy with NYCC preparations. Maybe we'll see something then.

Honestly, I kind of like these more than the originals, so far. And, I had and loved many of the originals when they came out, for about a year.

I like them better than the hard to get Classics series. If they were to keep the prices reasonable and not make it a chore to get I would get every character if they made them.

Here's the exclusives for NYCC. Interesting, but I won't hunt these down. Does give an idea of what future release will look like though (sans color).

I zero interest in them in B&W.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Before clicking this I excepted clear plastic (possibly colored) figures. My guess the painted versions will be a general release down the road. To many people would be interested in the painted versions to make it an exclusive.

They're counting all their easy money made from consumers content with buying unpainted figures.

Hey, if you've got the right customer base, resting on your laurels is insignificant. They dang know all those sales will be repeated almost 100% once they release the painted figures.

Heck, it's probably to their advantage to WAIT to release the painted MOTU figures--- just so they can assure all UNpainted figures have been moved accordingly.

Somebody suggested on the Super 7 Facebook page that the figures should be positioned in the center of the card rather than to the left, pointing out that this would work much better with the artwork they've chosen. I completely agree with that suggestion, plus the design would go along with what Mattel did on the original line. Hopefully Super 7 will consider making that change, assuming it's not too late.

These are the worst exclusive I've ever seen any company offer. There is no reason for them to exist. There is no incarnation of these characters EVER in black and white, and bright colors were a hallmark of the original toyline and cartoon.

These are just stupid and a waste of resources. Give us the damn color painted versions we've been asking about for MONTHS already.
