What does Funko's non-involvement have to do with anything? This isn't part of the ReAction line. This is a Super7 and Mattel venture.

No, I get it.. these are Super7 products, and there will probably be painted carded versions available at Entertainment Earth and other retailers later for, say, $15 a pop I'm guessing. But still, even for a Con Exclusive, you ought to be able to buy it easily if you are at the Con, have the money, and if you want it.Comment

And get in line five hours (at least) before it's released, HOPE they don't do it by lottery, and pray it doesn't sell out one person ahead of you. Con exclusives are not easy to get, even in the convention center itself.Comment

I've seen no official mention of a mass market line. The only thing I've read is Funko said they had nothing to do with the Super 7 MOTU figures.
[edit]From the Funko Funatic forum
"We have nothing to do with the Super7 MOTU figures. These are entirely their project and Funko is not involved at all."Comment

Is there any word on a painted release for these? I'm really looking forward to them and will be disappointed if they dont do it.Comment
-
Rumor is there will be painted releases. No idea when, how, or where yet. The idea for the protos is that they're cast in the main color of the figure, so it could be assumed they would use the exact same figures for the painted versions.Comment

Cool. I hope so. I love the way they look in this style. I like these better than the classics! Not sure how they'll work out his riding battle cat though and still look good.Comment

I don't know of any plans for other figures or playsets in this line.Comment

Thats true. Or a riding version of Heman with battle cat. I would love to see these get a mass release and do well in retail. The toy section in stores is getting kinda boring.Comment
