This is the one that stands head and shoulders above all others:

Can't say that I've seen too many TV movies, but the ones have seen include, Salems Lot, Dark Night of the Scarecrow and Hotline. Thought these were pretty good. Like as already been said though, Salems Lot stands above.

Looking forward to watching 'Don't Go To Sleep' now though. One that's been mentioned in another thread.

Good list--Curse of the Black Widow is campy fun.

No Dan Curtis' Trilogy of Terror?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

            Duel (Dennis Weaver)
            Gene Roddenberry's SPECTRE
            Night Stalker & Night Strangler
            KillDozer
The Last Dinosaur (more scifi than horror)
The Legend of Lizzie Borden with Elizabeth Montgomery

and scariest of all, Captain America with Reb Brown

BTW, I think the Kim Darby movie was Don't Be Afraid of The Dark?

Vampire, with Richard Lynch. Scary as hell.

Burnt Offerings with Melissa Sue Anderson. Who knew she could be evil?

                  Sorry, that was Midnight Offerings.

They would be Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and The Horror at 37,000 Feet both from 1973.

Hey! I like that movie! LOL

Poor Reb gets no love. Sure, he couldn't act but he was just so darn sincere. And likable.

^Those movies are a guilty pleasure of mine. And I agree, Brown gets by on his earnest likability.

I REALLY need to see Salem's Lot. I've never seen it. Duel is nail-biting awesomeness.

Dark Night of the Scarecrow made a lasting impression on me.

I love "Duel," but to me it's more suspense than horror.

And let's not be hating on Reb Brown .

I had completely forgotten "Spectre." And what about "The Norliss Tapes"? These to me are macabre but not truly frightening, so maybe they don't warrant inclusion.

Does anyone recall "Dr. Cook's Garden" with Bing Crosby, by Ira Levin?

Haven't seen it in ages, I'd like to re-view it.
