Hi all!
Last time I posted in here was a couple of weeks ago to show off my Crystal of the Inhumans custom I had been working on. I teased then that I was going to be working on Gorgon starting that weekend. Well I have finally finished him and thought I would show the process I went through to do it in here first, before posting him and the rest of the Royal family in finished customs. So without further ado....
I started by buying a custom made Gorgon head off Evilbay from N2LM sometime ago and silver Conan Bracelets from FTC. I had the idea to use one of my Daughters old toy horses that I had bought for her off Evilbay, when she as little, with her permission of course, to make the legs for Gorgon.
I then painted the Legs to match the fabric I wanted to use for his pants
Then I made the jumper for his pants and glued on strips for the design on the front
The Tunic was made using fusible web and an iron for the black strips coming down the front and back of the figure and the belt was made out of some black pleather I bought years ago, I also fused together to pieces of the brown fabric to use for the collar.
Then it was time to paint the head
I thought for a long time on how I was going to pull off the shoulder wrap for him and after trial and error I came up with this.
And there you have it! I am really pleased with how he turned out, and with the fact that I can get him to stand on his own, with those hoofs, bonus!
Thanks for looking, I hope you like him as much as I do and I will be posting pictures of him in a clam along with the rest of the family in finished customs soon!
