Worst K-Tel Collection- 70's TV Stars Perform Original Hits

Can you name some examples of 70's TV stars seriously performing songs as characters on shows?

I'm not talking about the David Souls or Lynda Carters recording albums outside of their shows or the soon-to-be-brought-back variety show appearances. I'm talking about when a character performs within the context of the story. Like

Deacon Dark on the Love Boat-

My favorite is Donny Most (aka Ralph the Mouth from Happy Days) as satanic heavy metal singer "Moloch" on C.H.i.P.s.

Although unlike those other videos, I doubt it's really Donny Most singing that, he's probably just lip-synching someone else's vocals.

A lot of KISS knock offs.

I'm surprised with all the TV knowledge here, we haven't come up with more time to scrounge through YouTube.

Scooby-Doo even had a Kiss rip-off episode during the Scooby/Dyno-Mutt hour days.

A couple creepiest from the swinging sixties:

And the Duke boys have a go at the Eagles:

What was that? It was like a weird KISS wannabe crossed with a very Chuck Mangione look!

I wonder if Gene Simmons knows anything about this Chips episode?

This may be a separate topic but don't forget TV show actors that sang as their characters on records.

Here's Richard Dawson as Newkirk from Hogan's Heroes.

There's also a Bonanza one out there

Ken Curtis did some too in character as Festus, which was cheating since he was a singer before becoming an actor and was a member of the Shep Fields All-Reed Band and the Sons of the Pioneers at one time:
