While bittersweet these will never come to be, it is nice to see some higher resolution shots of these pre-production samples. The Anti-Man from “Planet of…

Any chance these will ever be produced? Can you also show the BSG planned figures? Is BBP going to produce any new 8 inch lines? Where is Penny from BBT, she keeps getting pushed back.

Those are some beautiful prototypes. To this day, I yearn for even a bootleg of Li Hsen Chang.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Am I mistaken or aren't we missing the 10th Doctor (David Tennant) from the shown prototypes?

I think the Rory figure looks like David Tennant.

Love me the Tom Baker era, but I think the modern figures would have really been a boon to the format in bringing in a younger/wider crowd. I've personally seen the Matt Smith figure draw in a younger and female demographic. I'm sure a Tennant, River and other companions would have also been a draw for new blood that doesn't shy away from the "Doll" aspect of Mego.

Shame they didn't get to do Rory. Just think how many would have bought him to make a custom Rip Hunter figure.

I think the Rory figure look like just about anyone except Arthur Darvill.

I liked the BBP Whos, I have them all, but I wouldn't have bought any of these next ones.

She doesn't it's just the lighting in the room.

I was thinking if they had made Tennant, Rory and Gwen from Torchwood, I'd be well on my way to a set of Broadchurch customs.

I would have loved a Rory the Roman variant.

Honestly, don't think we missed out on much. A couple of the Tom ones are cool, but not really needed. This line seemed to be too beholden to doing the same figures we have in the 5 inch classics line.

Should have made more Daleks and a Davros.

And no need for any of the Matt Smith stuff. Let's all just try to pretend that nonsense never happened.

I look forward to discovering the prototypes in a junk store 30 years from now. And then I will die.
