Who Is LHT And What Are They To AHI?

I was excited thinking I had come across an AHI Batcopter for $30. A closer look determined that it wasn't AHI, but rather a company called LHT. There were differences in the details, but the item was basically the same product.

I found some references to a "Len Hunter Trading" company and some Australian addresses, but no information. Does anyone know who they were? Did they have a Mego/Palitoy type relationship in Australia or did LHT pick the AHI products at some point? Any info would be appreciated.

Australian distributor of toys, I believe they just used some existing AHI molds in the 80s. They were AHI molds but late 80s style guide card art, like this:

And of course, they also used some old Mego molds:

Thanks, Brian. I literally just sat down in front of my computer with your book. I figured if you hadn't responded yet, the answer might be there.

Do you think $30 is a good deal for the LHT Batcopter? I'll still probably let it sit as I'd rather pay ten times that for an AHI.

My book doesn't have piles of answers like that, I wish I had gone deeper. I think $30 is fair and square for any of this stuff to be honest.
