I just sent them a question and nicely told them they are reproduction:
"Just to let you know, those Supergirl shoes are reproduction. You can tell by the "DM" on them. That is for Dr Mego, a company that reproduces parts for Megos."
I wonder what kind of reply I will get?
Nice example of confusion in Mego collecting. Does this guy really think these are originals? Did he/she buy them as such? Are they being deceitful? Who knows but you are right. They are not 100% Mego but did come from here..

And at least they are clearly stamped. The emblem does indeed look like the "Diecut emblem made in china just like the originals" Added info: But it's NOT original and there are differences. I guess to easily spot a repro you must first own and burn the image of the original in your mind. The sheen to it sets off a red flag. It doesn't look like my original. But I also have a DM on a second Supergirl. It does indeed look like that.

Yeah. Hopefully they didn't get ripped off, just thought they had a real pair, and were hoping to capitalize. But probably not the case. Maybe trader by nature will buy them.
