My "boys" playing with their Hot Wheels

Hi guys!

Some of you remember my boy dolls Danny and Jason, from the post on the ZICA page, playing w/ their SMDM figures. Well here they are playing w/ a mini Hot Wheels set. The track and 2 of the cars are from a 1995 Hot Wheels Micro set, 2 other cars are 70s mini Hot Wheels. The finish line, loop da loop and their car cases are all Hallmark ornaments. In the corner is a 1970 minit Hot Wheels catalog that my friend gave them for Christmas last year. Does this look like you back in the day?

No kidding, my three had a bunch of orange track on the slide yesterday and did a ton of racing.

Great photo that brings back a lot of memories! That would have been me and my brother playing with HOT WHEELS and that distinctive orange track. As a matter of fact, I still have all the cars that you have in your photo tucked safely away in a box...

Yep, even that one. My brother was (and still is, to a certain degree) a huge collector of Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc. he passed his collection on to me when he moved to Florida so I have about 300+ of these things in various boxes all enshrouded in bubble wrap.

Put the kids on a carpet of that obviously fake 70's white snow and I can completely see this in the window of a toy store at the beginning of the Christmas season. Cool!
