    TARANTULA by ED NAGY

I have at least one hundred figures remaining on my custom "want list"

There are many different factors that go into how a new character is
chosen and ends up on my shelf.

TARANTULA --even tho I never knew the character as a child, intrigues me
because of his decent visibility DURING the years I was a child---
    in Spider-Man comicbooks---and merch---such as a record---and
    Presto Magix

I mentioned this character to customizer Ed Nagy---he saw pics of
TARANTULA and took to his interesting costume design like a fly
    to a web---

    And here he is:

    Thanks Ed!

I think he's just beautiful. (okay--not just the fig---Ed too)

I hope you guys here enjoy TARANTULA too--- Ed has been very busy
---but I want to give him his props here at the MM with
    a thread or two

Maybe he'll stop by the thread (hee-hee)

    Best---- Hugh

Couple of weeks ago I didn't even know this guy and now I see a second custom of him.
Very impressive Tarantula, Ed Nagy really is a wizard with those silk screened suits.
How many Nagy customs does this make for you now, Hugh?

    Thomas, good question---been a while since I "tallied" ---

Ed has made me many customs since 2000/2001 when I met him
thru Ebay---he's helped me "upgrade" just a few of my customs

---but most of them were "Ed Nagy originals" from scratch---

The definitive list is this (I think):

ELEKTRA, STORM, SPIDER-WOMAN, MOLE MAN, WASP, SHE HULK, BEAST,
RA'S AL GUHL, FISHERMAN, METALLO, PARASITE, TOP, WEATHER WIZARD,
PIED PIPER, CAPT. BOOMERANG, TRICKSTER, GRODD, TOYMAN, BRAINIAC,
SCARECROW, POISON IVY, CAPT. COLD, CREEPER, MAN-BAT, FELIX FAUST,
MATTER MASTER, STAR SAPPHIRE, ANGLE MAN, MERLYN THE ARCHER,
BLACK ADAM, SHARK, KILLER MOTH, WOOZY WINKS, COPPERHEAD, HUNTRESS,
RED TORNADO, ZATANNA, MARTIAN MANHUNTER, ZAN & JAYNA (GLEEK),
ATOM, PLASTIC MAN, BLACK CANARY, ELONGATED MAN, METAMORPHO,
BLACK LIGHTNING, BLACK VULCAN, SAMURAI, MANDARIN, LEADER, LOKI,
DORMAMMU, MEPHISTO, ELECTRO, ICEMAN, FIRESTAR, DR. SIVANA,
    VULTURE, SANDMAN, KRAVEN THE HUNTER

So, its about 63 including the two new ones Thomas---

Ed had made my dreams come true and has stuck by me even in my most
    impatient and "picky behavior" times.

I only hope that he knows/feels HALF my appreciation---because it is virtually limitless

I apologize if this is taking my own thread offtopic---but I relish ANY opportunity to
share with you all (and Ed) my appreciation....over 60 killer customs...wow
(I can hardly believe it myself)

    Thanks all.

N wonder Ed is never here, Hue keeps him too busy. Nice work on that one, too.

Great looking Tarantula! Nice pick-up - you can't go wrong with an Ed Nagy custom!

Hey Thunderbolt you are right, Hugh's list of wanted customs could keep a guy locked in a room for years.LOL... I wish that thats what I had been doing though, truth is there just hasn't been time for megoing until just recently. Now I'm lucky to get to read posts and look at what has been happening, but finding time to post isn't easy. I wanted to thank Hugh for posting this one and the Clayface. and thank everyone for the great comments.
Here's to finding more time soon!

Also, in the list Hugh credits me with APACHE CHIEF, that's not one I remember doing though.
I may be wrong Hugh, but I think someone else deserves the credit for that one.
