This trailer left me depressed. It looks utterly joyless, and when I'm watching my heroes onscreen, I'm usually smiling.
DC really needs to take a cue from The Flash.
Superman and Batman onscreen together should be a joyous moment worth celebrating. This looks like about as much fun as a funeral.Comment

Ugh. Compared to the first trailer of Avengers: Age of Ultron or Star Wars Ep. 7 it's not even a contest.

Zack Snyder can't get out of his Watchmen approach. So dark and dripping in social overtones. But I think what bothers me the most is the way Warner Bros overplays their hand by not revealing too many meaningful images, continuously reschedules release dates for it's first real trailer, and then when we finally see it... EVERYONE IS IN THE DARK! For Christ's sake, can we see Batman already? This is not driving my interest, it's killing it. We're bathing in great superheroes shows like the Flash, Arrow, and Daredevil on television or Netflix. We have Avengers 2 getting ready to roll out along with new Star Wars trailers for a Christmas release. Yet a movie that comes out three months after Star Wars with two of the most recognizable heroes on the planet is hidden in shadows for their first big trailer? Eh... Maybe Snyder should have been part of that FF movie.Comment
