Even better news, she's being sold individually, so we're not going to have to buy yet another set of Batman and Robin just to get Batgirl!

I think it goes online July 9th, coinciding with San Diego Comic Con.

Is it though? Or will this thing be gone immediately and only be available from lovely scalpers? I'm not familiar with these TRU-SDCC exclusives, so I'm legitimately asking.

Does anyone have the website where the figure will be sold on the 9th?

I think - but am not absolutely certain - Batgirl re-uses much of the Catwoman mold, so she is thin and has long legs and skinny arms. Mattel has many times stated that they can't afford to spend money on new molds for every character and they will re-use whenever possible. It's assumed we should just be happy with whatever we get.

I compared my Catwoman figure to the Batgirl pics. She's an all new mold. She has sculpted costume details all over that are completely different from Catwoman.

She has Yvonne's hips too. She's far hippier than Newmar.

^Yes. I do think she's missing a little of that 60's bullet bra look though... LOL

Regardless, I'll be getting the box set...I need that Batcomputer!

I am buying all Yvonne merch no matter what, but this (like the whole line aesthetic) is a swing and miss. Sure they got her hips, but those toothpick legs? Watch her scenes as Marta from Trek. No way! She was a woman, a REAL woman, in the 1960s. And she is missing the bullet bra look, yes.

Yeah, this is crummy looking. It really looks like a dollar store figure. But I bought it anyway, cause I'm a sucker for Yvonne Craig, whose likeness here is minimal at best.

I ordered one today, too. I don't think it's crummy looking, though. Looks decent enough, about on par with the other Mattel Batman '66 figures. The whole line could have been a little bit better, but I don't think they are actually bad. It would have been a killer line if they had farmed it out to someone like NECA, or brought in outside sculptors like Gentle Giant or The Four Horsemen to do the sculpts. Everything Mattel does in-house comes out kind of sub-par. Still, my enthusiasm for finally getting an Yvonne Craig Batgirl figure (and all of the '66 figures in general) is enough to help me overlook the flaws.

I got this figure in the mail today. It looks good! Too bad the package didn't match the earlier figures, but that's a minor point.
