      This is extremely depressing news.
I don't know what I would do without my trek & monster playsets.
I have always loved your work Scott. Thank you for everything you have done for my collection!
      Cheers,

SAY IT AIN'T SO SCOTT!!!!After all the great work that you've done on all your playsets and the custom ones that you made me I have no idea who's going to help me now.I don't know who's going to do the finish artwork for my Phoenix Lva Lair now,you are truly an artist when it came to creating, building and the artwork for your sets.I still have the old Dida Displays websites saved in my computer favorites and those will be truly missed. You were truly the king of playsets and in my mind will always be.Thanks for all the great playsets and your time, talent and all the years that your playsets have enriched our lives and made us relive our childhood again.By the way,if you know of someone who could help with the front artwork for my Phoenix Lava Lair playset please let me know.

seeing this spread puts me in a remorseful funk that i didn't get into mego collecting a bit sooner. tasty artwork throughout! and i would certainly splurge for mad monster and batman playsets if still available today. but, definitely!

Any chance you have any completed ones left for sale?

I'd give a million dollars to have a 1:12 scale Dark Knight Returns Dida playset.

A 1:12 Judge Dredd/2000 AD playset would be welcome too.

Just wanted to add my congratulations on retirement, as well as bemoan my not getting these works of art while I could- I'm FINALLY at a point where I'm done globe-hopping.

I don't think I've ever seen the Brick Mantooth pad! Love it! I only own the original Mego Museum dispay set with all the trading cards as backdrop. LOVE IT! Stellar work here and I know it inspired many companies to follow suit. Long live the playset!

What a tragedy. I desperately wanted that TOS bridge. :(. What a work of art. Happy trails.

Scott - so sorry to hear and read this post. If I had the room I would have gotten a few of these playsets.
They really were truly amazing to look at and you did a fantastic job at making and sharing them.

Scott, you should take immense pride in the fact that people now use the term "Dida Like". :-)

I wish I had bought the Super Friends set but I never had the $$. When I did it was too late.
