    They are darn cool!

But, the $99 price tag will probably prevent most from collecting them, especially with all of the great 8 inch figures that are being released. One or two of them might be doable, though.

Rampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?

I love the fact that even though they have the plastic tray inside the box, they didn't cut corners and leave out the colored insert. They really did those well and it shows.

I wish the boots were a little longer. And I hope Batman's belt fits around the waist better than the it does on the 8-inch figure.

I really like the look of the Superman and Robin.

I went out to FTC's website where they show all the 18 inch figures and I noted on the side of the box, we will also get a giant Aquaman, Green Arrow, AND Shazam! I will have those. Too awesome.

and on 18" VILLIANS box sides- Penguin, Mxyzptlk(?), Bizarro(!), and Scarecrow!

Now we need 6 (at least!) 18" DC SUPER GALS!

since this year doesn't seem to be too FTC heavy buying for me(from what's been shown so far) i went ahead and ordered riddler, superman and joker. If they do green arrow and shazam i'll go for those too.The KISS 12' figures were about 70-80 dollars so I don't think 100 for these is too bad compared to the other retro big toys out there.Wasn't interested in the batman or robin but if they made 18" figures based on mego's 12' magnetic batman and robin or if based on the 12" "movie" superman line,id might get those too. Also if you buy a six figure wave of 6 inch figures today it's a little over a 100 so I'm not too put off by the price.

An 18" Scarecrow might not be so bad to go with the 8" figures, since they always seem to make him giant on the covers:

Doom Patrol 18" Elasti-Girl and 8" Robotman, Negative Man, Mento, and 7" Beast Boy (w/ purple mask)! If Beast Boy is Teen Titans line only then a DP Brotherhood of Evil villain- 7" General Immortus, Madame Rogue! Monsieur Mallah (if FTC does Legion of Doom Gorilla Grodd) and include The Brain with Mallah! Would love Chief but a wheelchair might be too costly.

Robin with a painted mask is a no-go for me! Maybe I'll get a Shazam when it comes out, to make a giant Peter Parker out of.

Joker's vest is too high, and Robin's tunic is too long.
