Liking the looks of Fate. The cape and amulet look greatly improved over the prototype (which wasn't bad to begin with). It does look like the cape is regular knit rather than the usual cape material (just by the way it's laying/draping on the shoulders in the posed pic). THe collar is definitely the same material as the costume. I know there's some disagreement about the color of the helmet and amulet, but there is a strong case to be made it was always intended to be interpreted as gold (never hear it referred to as the "yellow helmet of Fate"). And if they use that shade of Inca Gold, a more yellowish tone, it looks like it bends well. And it leaves an opening to do a variant of Fate down the line with the yellow helm, so I think we'll get both in the end.

And that pic from the Wards catalog is one of my favorite things ever. It was that pic that, for several years, inspired me to set up my Mego Halloween displays.

Oh, yeah, I think the changes in Two-Face are going to make a lot of Mego folks very happy. Classic Bronze Age suit, green left hand, mismatched shoes, all in the style of the Secret Identity suits. Hits pretty much all the marks of what Mego would have done with it back in the day. Very pleased. Wonder where they finally found the checked purple in the right pattern size, imagining that wasn't easy.

Is it me, or does the Mego Two-Face look like William Shatner?

                Two Face looks really nice.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I agree. The improvement on the Two-Face is remarkable. If I had seen this photo originally, I would have pre-ordered one.

Looks like Firestorm's flame head got some good tweaking. Having it sweeping to the side and apparently a bit back is a very effective way of giving it some length and mass and still fitting it in the limited space of the package. The original prototype looked good; this looks amazing. Only thing I might have changed is to make the "gloves" more like just yellow cuffs at the end of the sleeve, sewn onto a gathered, a little more blouse-y, sleeve (like Supergirl's sleeves with a cuff). Admittedly, though, that would complicate assembling the sleeve a bit, so that might be a good reason against that approach. Minor nit-pick, though. So far the more finished products we're seeing have one-upped the prototypes in every case. And absolutely loving that huge monster castle display. Awe inspiring goodness in there.

That was pretty terrific - Thanks! I think the Mego factory samples have all been home runs so far. I agree the customs were great!
