I wasn't taking it as a slam but I merely think the optics of that dump aren't as impactful as they seem. This kind of thing goes on a lot in the toy industry but because this one got press, it seems more dire than it probably is.

The Mego stuff will likely not get speculator attention as you mentioned (which is a good thing) but there may be enough non-speculator traffic to make it a winner.

I spent a toy show next to Funko speculators a year or so back, they were not very bright and clearly only interested in flipping. I did not enjoy their company or the accompanying odour.

I'm pleased to see Two-Face is upcoming, though not as excited as I'd be for Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, or Scarecrow. But I expect those, too and I'm in. I have a custom Charlee Flatt Two-Face made to my exact specifications, so everything else is icing on the cake and I like Covall sculpts.

Regarding Pops!, all I know is every time I'm in Target, folks are browsing and often buying them, but there's not a new MOTU in sight. Hmpphhh!

Great customs--I especially like Huntress, and Dr. Praetorius (I'm such a fan) is so clever and meticulous--I love it. Definitely borrowing that recipe. I'm usually pleased with the variety of customs I see in the newsletter, but I have no FB basis of comparison.

Looking forward to the Mego Two-Face; I don’t have the FTC or Mattel versions, but I do have the excellent Mezco One:12 that came in a 2-pack with GA Batman.

Was hoping to see Ulysses S Grant arriving to the Presidents line sooner than later, and if they’re continuing the generals to presidents trend, then I hope we see Dwight D Eisenhower in the near future. Wondering if they will have Grant dressed in his civil war blues and presidents clothes like they did with Washington?

Also think Two-Face is a great addition to the Mego Batman villains line and maybe will also see in the future Catwoman and Mr. Freeze (with freeze gun) too.

Very cool looking mean green body, funny how they advertise it on St. Patrick’s day….

Would make a pretty neat Green Goblin custom or use the ctvt green gargoyle or green alien head or even the green hero head.
