I know, but that's one of the few times we'll ever see them together like that so I threw it in. I have a list of things that I may not live long enough to own by the time my kids are grown, and that set is at the top. I currently have one lonely figure.

Stan Lee looks great, a great tribute to the father of marvel comics, if not for him we would have never seen as many mego heroes. I'll pass on Grundy, just not liking it at all, too bad always like to see Superman villains. I also enjoyed Rachel's
custom Romulans, very nice.

Hmmmmm...the new KISS figures are a mixed bag. I just picked up the 8" ALIVE! figures and I really liked the way they handled the boots and costumes. I think the boots look kind of oversized in the photos but they may look ok in hand. The costumes look nice otherwise. I can't get a good look at the head sculpts, but they look good, particularly Gene since the teaser images showed Gene's expression from DYNASTY. But Ace and Peter's hair is odd!! I wonder why they changed it from ALIVE! and DTK? Anyway, I like them.

Also, I can't help but notice they didn't announce 12" versions?

EDIT: I just looked at the photos of the figures out of package, and I don't think the boots are as oversized as I originally thought. I'm digging them now, I just have to come up with something to do with Pete and Ace's hair.

Gene looks good, but as soon as they wrap that wire tie around his head, his hair will forever hold an odd shape.
Peter and Ace headscuplts look ridiculous...
Paul is acceptable, but hs hair will kill the deal.
No 12" figures announced that I saw.

And before the FTC trumpets start playing, I am not trying to bash, just disappointed with how FTC is handling the KISS license. I am one the biggest KISS fan in the world, I'd buy KISS toliet paper...but I can't pay MSRP for FTC KISS figures...not when NECA creates the works of art they do at $29.99.
