    I'm not positive, but I don't think so. He wore a wool Ivy League cap at times, and a straw hat, too but I don't recall a larger denim cap.

    Looks good/more apt on Huggy Bear, though.

    The mego head likeness was interesting, I do think John Boy did wear a hat similar to the mego denim in some episodes of the first season, I think a pair of those circular bifocals a typewriter and desk as an accessory would complete John Boy.

    Sticking with the Waltons I also think they did a good job on the Grandfather sculpt played by Will Geer.
