I remember all of those Continuity Comics in the mid-80s. Amazingly they showed up on my local drugstore newstand. Megalith, Ms. Mystic, Crazy Man, etc. Megalith didn't look bad, but if I recall the distribution on these was pretty nuts.

I was a big fan of NOW Comics' Green Hornet Series. In a lot of ways it was a predecessor of the "lineage" super hero comics like James Robinson's Starman:
