Flesh Body Lizard Prototype
One of a kind original Mego Lizard figure!
Nothing custom here. All Mego made. Hand painted eyes and mouth. Paint application is different than the released figures. The same paint was used on the factory painted faces. Head has about half of the scale detail drawn in. Mainly one side, to compare detailed as opposed to not detailed. (I wonder if somebody has a prototype Spider-man head half detailed?)
He has original factory riveted green Lizard parts attached to the flesh colored upper limbs. This could not have been faked, or the original rivets would have left visible damage. Original elastic still intact. Ask anybody that has seen this figure in person. It's spectacular!
Featured in the "World's Greatest Toys" Mego book by Ben Holcomb. (But with misleading information, he's not an early example of the figure. He's the lone example!)
$5,000. Shipping included. Monthly payment plan okay. I've sold a few other high end pieces that way to other members here with no problems with extended payment plans. I will add an original, mint condition costume and lab coat. Just in case you want to clothe him.
