Interesting that the prototypes are ultra glossy, unlike the Star Wars ones Gentle Giant did. I love my Star Wars ones, but I really wish GG would have paid more attention to the glossy texture when they made them.

It looks like they will. There is a gap between the hand and claw.

Secret Wars figures were pretty glossy. They had a much more, plasticy/rubbery feel than Super Powers for instance. Nice of them to capture this in these giant reissues.

And yes, these were brought up on the board when they were first announced, but no harm in talking some more!

I've still got the black spider man from when I was a kid! Had a lot of these even Captain Americas cycle, I loved them. I may have to pick up Spider man in classic red if they do him.
