Scud Creator to Direct Lego Movie Sequel = Awesome!

It was just announced that Rob Schrab is doing to direct "The Lego Movie Sequel". He's been directing tons of funny TV shows for years, and is the co-creator of "The Sarah Silverman Program", but this will be his first feature film.

Any other fans of Scud: The Disposable Assassin?

Oh man - I remember Drywall, but I never got any.

I got La Cosa Nostroid, but didn't like it as much as Scud:

Interesting - in Schrab's own words - "Scud #21 - What Happened?" (Fans of "Community" will want to read this for sure)

(On a side note, this is one more reason for me to dislike Oliver Stone.)

he's got a little MST3k in his background, too.

So this puts us one step closer to a SCUD movie and seeing the storyline that would have been issue #21?

Did this vending machine boxed figure ever come out?

it looks like this one did...

Why is there an Isz with that Scud? Was there a crossover with the Maxx?

Yeah, that's weird. The title says it's from the Maxx series. I've never seen this toy before.

Here's a perfect review and showcase of both the non-articulated statue as well as the multiple versions - regular Scud/colors, SOL (black), and translucent yellow (which you may not have even been aware of...?) - of the slightly smaller articulated figures you're asking about: http://www.oafe.net/yo/is1_scud.php

I own every one of those, and despite Shocker Toys apparently ROYALLY screwing Rob over (he's told me this himself, in person) the figs - and statue - are actually all REALLY great
