I just do not know if I would have bought the Huckleberry wave 2 Fry Kids. The original Kids Meal Fry Kids fit in better as far as I can tell.

I got in most of my Huckleberry McDonaldland figures today and decided to take pictures of the Remco vs Huckleberry figures:







I am waiting on my Mayor McCheeseburger to come in to finish the set.

Very nice compare. Huckleberry did a fantastic job of recreating the Remco line. Very impressive.

I like the repros better!

Upon looking at them side by side I do like the repros better. Huckleberry did there research not just rerelease the same figure but updated them in the right way.

This is CRAZY! When I was a wee little lad my mother came home one day in 1980 or 1979 and gave me Ronald McDonald. I was beyond shoobee doobee upset because it was ANY member of Mego KISS. As a kid my mother never understood my obsession with ALL things crazy and weird but supported my weird tastes. I remembered that expression on my mother's face the day she gave that doll to me. We grew up in a single parent household and pretty poor so she could not afford what I wanted. In short, she tried her best. I now own several Mego KISS and FTC figures but never forget the story,my mom,my childhood and our situation whenever I see these McDonald toys. I think if it would have been Grimace or the Mayor McCheese the outcome would have been better? hell, one of these days I should buy a Mayor McCheese figure
