JLA Gum and Tattoo

I remember buying these at a little store when we went to visit an uncle in Buffalo NY when we were kids. My sister and I got yelled at for feeding the gum to squirrels in the yard, and putting like 20 tattoos on each arm. Wasn't there a Martian Manhunter one as well, I seem to recall there was.

Are these early 70s? I don't recall them, at all.

They're really neat, though!

I can tell you where a lot of the art came from on these. Some of these poses were really odd choices, especially the frightened Wonder Woman from JLA #66:



These are great though, and undoubtedly the first appearance of the bearded Green Arrow outside of comics.

For such a tiny price, this heroic tattoo gum would have been chewed on by this diminuitive titan if I had been given the chance. I wonder if the gum was super tasty or if the flavor lacked punch? I think I need these for my utility belt!
