I got one of the new capes and am very happy with it. It is made of nice heavy material that is shiny on the outside with a matte surface on the inside. It has a nice clasp. The cape and hood are completely hemmed, with a wire in the front to allow posability. Its a full cape, coming down to the floor and very wide to allow it to complely engulf the figure if that is what you want.
