Hasn't Thor used the chainmail armor look off and on for like at least the last 20 to 25 years?

I guess that specific look is 9 years old.

This looks nice---love the Don Blake figure! Even though I'd prefer Diamond Select to stay away from modern designs, the modern Thor looks fantastic! I'll definitely be getting this set.

The repro Thor looks great! I'm interested to see how the modern Thor will look in production.

Wow! Very cool that they went with a more contemporary Thor costume.

I like that Don Blake has the Thor face.

Looks nice. I like the look of this set. However, I may end up passing on it. I already have a custom classic Thor, I am not really a Donald Blake fan, but I am tempted by the modern Thor. Maybe I"ll get it and sell off the stuff I don't want? I may have to see the finished product before I decide for sure.

Awesome!! Very impressed with the Don Blake figure. Hmmmmm, modern Thor... I've never seen him look like that in the comics.

But if Rogers took the hammer, than he would be a thief, and a thief would not be worthy....

He's just borrowing it, not stealing it.

The boxed Cap has half his face hidden by the box. I hope it doesn't look like that when released.

Outstanding set. The repro looks great. Love the Don Blake head. Nice to have another male head for figures. I like the modern Thor costume a great deal. I've got a mego scale Hemsworth head that it will look great with. The new hammer and fist look very cool, too. This one looks almost as strong as the Cap set.

Man, between Cap and Wolverine, and now Thor, Doc, why don't I just send you my next paycheck? You and EMCE knocked this one outta the park! Love, love, love Modern Thor - especially like the two part Mjolnir. That's gonna alleviate a lot of wear and tear on Thor's fingers. You guys even made Don Blake interesting! A full set of scrubs and a stethescope, in addition to the walking stick!

Only concern I have is with the packaging - will the issues folks had with the Spidey set be resolved by the time Thor sees release?
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

I suppose you could use either the rooted hair head or the molded hair head on the modern or classic costume?

One question, it looks like Modern Thor's hammer is in two pieces in the package, why?

It looks like the hammer might have to be slid in his hand from the head side and not the end with the leather thong.
