It is a mistaken price according to Brian Flynn, head of Super 7. Retail is closer to $200.

Yup, just read something from a few days back that the edition size and price were gonna be roughly the same as the Stormtrooper.

^^ Hoping the price is valid since FUNKO is releasing the FETT and SUPER7 is doing the Trooper. Found this blurb:

"It was back in 2010, Super7 released one of the most epic licensed toys around, the Stormtrooper Super Shogun! This had gotten us very excited with hopes of other Star Wars universe characters to be made. A couple years later came a teaser of a Boba Fett Super Shogun, which blew our minds! Unfortunately nothing has been announced since then, but from out of nowhere, Funko displayed the all new Boba Fett and Shadowtrooper Super Shoguns. With the help of Funko, these badass 24” toys will be made! The release of the Shadowtrooper will be happening very soon. How soon? How about Star Wars Celebration on April 16th soon. As for the Fett, they will be released during San Diego Comic-Con.

The Shadowtroopers were made in the same factory as the original Stormtrooper Super Shogun and the Boba Fett at a different factory. Be rest assured, the quality will be the very same! By the way, the Mandalorian has a working shooting backpack!"


So the Fett is being manufactured in a different factory, probably the same factory as other FUNKO products. Hence maybe larger numbers thus accounting for the low price. Still waiting for BBS to update or send notification of update on price.

I ordered it at the current price, but would cancel at $200. Hoping the current price is real.

The Shadowtrooper box has Funko x Super7 on it as well. I don't think what factory they're made in is going to affect the price. It is my understanding that both will have the same edition size and price. I have seen from multiple sources that the price at BBTS is an error.

^Looking like BBTS is removing it's pre-order for FUNKO content. They jumped the gun on this one. Fett is still up for now but I have a feeling it will be removed.

So how long before our BBTS preorders get cancelled? I guess the price was too good to be true. That'd be amazing if they honored the preorders, but that's probably a pipe dream.

Update:

I see what they were doing. Updated FUNKO Pre-Order page to prep for the Newsletter that just went out. What's funny is that the Fett is the top item when you click on the link from the Newsletter embedded email.
