^All great ideas. The Star Trek original films were great 80s entertainment in their own right.

The movies would be a great source for figures as well as a return to the original idea of the Reaction line.

Looks like I'm looking forward to the Gorn and Orion Slave Girl.

They look swell all lined up like that. They should do stands that look like Transporter pads.

Interesting… Do the BBP Big Bang Theory figures utilize the same body sculpt?

From what I've seen in the photos from Toy Fair, the Biff Bang Pow Big Bang Theory figures look like they have a more realistic, less stylized look to them. Kind of makes me wish that BBP had the retro 3 3/4" Star Trek license instead of Funko. Although I'm still happy to get Star Trek figures from Funko in this scale, even if they don't look as nice. Although I do think the Gorn and Vina figures look really good.

Mmm. Too bad indeed. The Trek figures do look great as is, but I do agree there's room for that little spark in sculpting that takes it over the top.

Actually my bigger criticism of these is something most people are praising: the packaging. It looks nice, but not retro. There's no way a 1976 Trek line would have packaging like this. I would've preferred they use the Gold Key logo and stylings for the card art.

I'd like to see Toyroom take a crack at some mock ups of what the cards should look like.

Packaging based on the Gold Key comics would be great!

If the heads aren't mongo-mellon sized I'm in. This is the exactly what I've been waiting for.
