    Mr. Fantastic } Yes,.. He "looks" Stretchey

    Hey Guys,

    Something I had been Working on. I love Stretchey characters,.. Thought it would be neat to take the "look" to the 8inch Mego Format. So I invented something... I took Russ's small buff torso. Added a longer look to it,.. so it would appear to be Stretchey. Put a Ball joint on the end of it too. I boosted a Hand from the Plasticman Justice figure,.. then made the joints for it like Mego. I got the other hand from a Fantastic figure.

    Torso Next to a DocMego Torso }

    & A work inprogress for the Upper Body }

    So,.. After all that was done ... I picked up a Handsome Gentleman Head from Laurie,.. & added a Small neck to it. To give the Neck a Stretchey look. I didn't want to do anything with the Legs,.. I thought with the whole upper body "stretching.. it would be enough,.. Plus He could Stand Better.

    Hand Sewn Suit & Leather Makes up for the clothing,.. Legs & Pelvis from Doc. Box Comming soon..., I jumped the gun. In theroy this "look" could work well for all the Stretchey Characters out there,.. as well as the 5 Different Mr. Fantastic Suits. The figure over all,.. stands at just under 10inches tall. Just Enough,.. to fit in with everyone.

      Awesome job on the torso and arms. Suit looks awesome too. A perfect fit. He looks too young to have the grey sides. That body would work great for Plastic Man and Elongated Man too. With some arm changes Super Skrull might be possible also. Some really nice stitch work on the suit. It looks great.
      It's not a doll it's an action figure.

        Boy oh boy! What a nice piece of work that turned out to be! Looks like a lot of time and thinking went into putting that one together! I'd love to see you turn out Plas, EM and Elastic Lad figures! Too cool!

            Man, you sculpting guys kill me every time. Just when I think I have something cool in the works, it gets blown out by somebody elses kickass custom. Nicely done. He really looks sharp.

                          That just looks so realistic, like he's actually stretching! That's a really fantastic Mr. Fantastic!

                            I love the way that torso turned out. Very cool and a great contribution to the Custom Mego world. Any chance of making a body that looks like a spiral?

                              NICE! Seem a lot of Elasticman figures stretched out, but haven't seen a Mr F like this.
