Chris Pratt is reportedly being eyed to play Indiana Jones in an upcoming franchise reboot from Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm, Ltd.

Theres worse choices but Harrison is going to be hard to replace. I've been hoping the series would get rebooted though.

Last year when there was rumors of an Indy reboot it was Bradley Cooper... Neither is a terrible suggestion.

I just hope they don't actually "reboot". All I need is a new movie where Pratt walks out onto the screen wearing the fedora and someone calls him "Dr. Jones". Then move on to tell the story. Just like a Bond film.

Oh yea. New stories please. None of that revisiting the original films.

I'm good with the ones we already have. Lightning in a bottle I say. Say what you like about Crystal Skull, but the required ingredients are Lucas, Spielberg, Williams, and Ford.

I loved Crystal Skull. it wasn't as good as the original 3 but it was still a fun movie with all the ingredients. continuing the story though, would really work, especially if they get Harrison Ford in it as well and do past and present flashbacks. it would really set up a whole new series of movies. I can see Pratt as Indy a lot easier than I can see Bradley Cooper in the role. Cooper is too much of a pretty boy, although he definitely has the acting chops

Loved Crystal Skull. I actually like it better than Temple of Doom.

Can't see Pratt as Indy. Don't know who I would choose, but not him.

He's great, but a bit whiny.

Indeed, I don't need a reboot. They can just continue, and if it were up to me, I'd start during WWII (let me just completely ignore Skull).
I love the whole 30s-40s era, and I think it is the best period for such an adventure.
As long as they don't call him Dr. Pratt, I'm ok with it.

To have Ford continue would just be unconvincing. We need a man in his prime.

I'm not a fan of Chris Pratt to begin with and find him an odd choice. If Pratt is who they picked I wonder who they passed on. It will be interesting to see what approach they take with the movie. Since Pratt's in it I doubt I'll see it anyway.
