Sofubi Retro Heroes

Sofubi already made DC's Batman and Superman and had announced Robin for June 2015. They also will be making Marvel figures like Spiderman and Iron Man that I know about... These are very appealing.

I have seen some reviews comparing these to 8" figures and they seem to be humongous (supposedly they are 10" tall). I can't find pictures comparing them to 12" figures...

Any fellows here that collect these and may be able to take some pictures of these standing next to a 12" figure. Thanks for any help!

It's gonna be right between the 8" and 12" in height, but they're pretty chunky figures.

Thank you Iron Mego! Yeah, I was able to find the Sofubi Batman standing next to 8" figure over the web but none standing next to a 12" figure... I would love to see it next to a GI Joe figure...

i thought i saw somewhere that there was an Andre the Giant figure too, but i can't find where i read it, or ever see one for sale

I like the idea of these, and I love the retro feel and boxes, but to me, personally, they are a bit too on the fence with their stylization. But to each their own!

I have all 6 and Spidy on order... I'm on the fence about SwampThing $119-$125 is a little steep for these figures even for me.

^Venom there reminds me of the original, large Toy Biz Marvel Super Heroes version from 1990.

Vision and Iron Man are pretty cool, but I'd pass on the others. Actually, I hope they do a little more "retro" Iron Man.

My brother had the 10" Spidey and Venom on his dresser for decades. They're still here somewhere, need to dig 'em out sometime.
