I really liked it. I thought it had a first season Wonder Woman vibe to it.
    Fresh, not from concentrate.

^ Bryan I agree. I actually watched several of the WW2 episodes of WW last weekend and there were similarities. I believe some of the street sets from Agent Carter were redressed from Lois and Clark and probably a lot of other shows. But the setting made me yearn for a batman or Superman series set in the 40s.

I don't see the male chauvinist attitude going away anytime soon...it was part of the times(like Mad Men). Remember, women had only won the right to vote in 1920...a mere 26 before this show takes place.

The whole family finally got to see this, and we're hooked. Put me in the Atwell fan club, and I hope we get at least another mini out of this!

So this link popped up in my Facebook feed today. And I'm okay with that...

Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.

Anyone else get an Emma Peel/John Steed vibe from this show?

You are so right about that, it does have the BBC The Avengers feel to it.

Loved tonight's episode... Maybe it's the period piece that it is, but at times it has a bit of a noir feel too. I have to say, I'm loving this much more that Agents of Shield right now.

It could also be that since its a mini-series, the pace seems brisk and the stakes seem higher. Kind of like Lost found its way when the end date was decided. Ok, geek-out rave is over...

                    SPOILERS

Okay, who thinks the assassin who killed Carter's jerkish partner is the new girl who moved into her dormitory hall? Sure looked like a blonde woman.

I figured that girl was going to be bad news the minute she showed up.

You mean WWII Black Widow and Dr. Johann Fennhoff who are Marvel characters? It was great to have actual villains for this series.
