RC Batman, non stirrup suit ... DOUBT :)

Hello my friends!!!
I have just bought a RC Batman with the following characteristics:
T1 Removable Cowl Batman, Non Stirrup Suit, Nylon Trunks, Translucent Belt, Vynil Emblem, std Boots, Blue Cape...
I am 100% sure that all accessories are original BUT I have a doubt about the cape...
The other 3 RC Batmans I own have a purpleish/greyish cape...while this one is blue.
I was wondering if somebody would help me understand if this blue (original, NON DM) cape belongs to this RC Batman from the very beginning or if it comes from a later release T2 Batman....

It does look like a later issue to me. Blue seems more desirable than purplish but purplish is a common color or should I say "fade" for the RCB cape. Dark blue is usually a later issue. As long as it is not repro, I wouldn't care so much. Check for any remnants of an erased DM near the v in the back on both sides. Plus the DM capes seem to be softer material and seem less prone to freying than the originals. If it were Purple I'd say you are on the money but those ones don't match the other blue's as nicely.

I have 3 more Minty Batman capes in my "orphans" box...Tomorrow I will take some pics and kindly ask you an opinion about which one should stay with my new RC Batman!!!

It is a nice cape though - if you have a purplish one in your orphan box then that would be a good one to use

Personally, I have no problem with that cape and as long as it's original Mego, harder to find in that shape. But yes it's quite possible that it was released on the molded cowl. But it looks so much better than a faded purple cape. But faded purple capes have their own charm. Nobody is repro ing those

I have a canvas short rc batman (non stirrup suit) with this color cape - I am assuming that the later releases had this color Len??

i think...all the rc bats should have the purplish cape or possibly lighter blue . that nice dark blue one is from a later version.

UHM....
I found a purplish cape...and three other blue capes (including the one in my first pic)...two of which are very dark blue...the third one is slightly lesser dark blue instead...
Should I use the purplish or the lesser dark blue one?

The purplish light blue is the correct one and the one I would use. Do the gloves have the cross hatch pattern on one side? I believe those should be on a RC Batman. The wrong gloves annoy me more than if mine had the wrong cape.

OK GUYS....I found a cross hatch pattern pair of gloves too...so My RC Non Stirrup Suit Batcman is now complete!!!
Purplish light blue cape + cross hatch pattern pair of gloves
