IMO the rotating head thing more than makes up for the lack of elbow and knee joints. You can do some crazy puppetry with those hamburgers. YES

we cant let this thread die anybody have cool pictures of recent purchases?
Nice REMCO Maccas figures there :-)
And Chris I will find those missles for you *someday* They are in deep, deep storage and shouldn't really be too hard to find, they were in a cardboard box, it was brown and squarish, I'm almost certain of it. :juggleyes_y:
I've picked up a few things recently both online and in the real world, some are upgrades to existing figures and some were tag-alongs from an auction lot or two and won't be guests in my collection for long, I'm not saying which ones though out of sheer embarrasment :-) All are mint never-removed-from-insert figures, most of the boxes had their tape split.
From the shame files:

I've got nothing here. Let's move on!

Looks like he's just sat on something large and prickly:

But he is minty!

Halp! I'm stuck!

Tough to find with unused catalogue and Kenner "We Really Do Care" leaflet folded in, all still in place!

NRFB Toltoys Leia is an upgrade:

And finally the one I'm most excited about, Major Matt Mason's mental friend from Jupiter himself, Callisto. Nice ebay deal:

I love Toltoys stuff but there's a great charm about Matt Mason that makes me want to go after them as a long term project.
Cheers!
Will
I really liked that Toltoys etch a sketch you picked up. It was cheap too. I need to start checking out the AU ebay myself .
My Goodness Will, you've been extremely busy, great stuff!
How does one simulate x-ray vision? lol
Will
I Love your Treasure. Fantastic :beaming1:
Sammy
Cool, what awesome stuff! I love the JJ, Donny & Marie and the Bionic dolls! And GIJoe too!
Great stuff Will! That Toltoys boxed Leia is especially nice.
Those missiles are in "deep deep storage"? That's not a euphemism for being lost in an unknown box somewhere, is it? :smiley1: ;) No worries, I think my Daimos can manage being low on ammo for awhile. :)
I just noticed where the Price sticker is on your Leia LOL. Pretty funny :beaming1:
Sammy
I got these beauties in today, I've been looking for UK versions of a lot of this stuff for a while now. I managed to win the all of it in one go at an auction over here. It's all mint ex shop quality...I'm chuffed to say the least!
http://megomuseum.com/mmgallery/file...1/IMG_0951.JPG
Congrats Bill that stuff is amazing!
I'm speechless. I so want a comic Superman in the box. Congrats on the pick-ups Bill.
The Toltoys stuff is fantastic. Did the Leia from Toltoys not come with a belt?
Cool pics.
and the 12 inchers plus cah, ek, and ali. Wow. Time machine right there. Nice stuff; must be hard not to want to crack it open.
Great stuff Bill, I really want to get a comic version Supes like that. Everything looks to be in really nice condition, great score, especially in one fell swoop.
The 12" Leia was packaged not wearing her belt, it was in a bag with her other accessories. Looks like Will's has never been removed from the box, or at least never removed off the insert.
wow that is a great leia and obi-wan is fantastic.
boy george doll  time for toy rehab :smiley1:
In my defense I did mention that some of these were included with auction lots that I won. But George is kinda growing on me now... :smiley1:
Toltoys Leia's belt is around her feet, I think it might have been around her waist but not sure, everything else is bagged and she's definitely never been removed from backing card.
Bill those UK specials are wonderful! Congrats on landing them. I especially love the Denys Fisher Ali figure and boxing ring, thats why I was one of your under-bidders
I've got one small box on it's way from that auction, hopefully it's in as good condition as your wins.
Ciao!
Will
So you're the guy who bid me up? ;) They had some amazing stuff in that auction, it's one of the best I've seen for a long, long time. The same seller has more to come from his collection, so that should be worth looking out for. Hope you're box turns up ok; I have to say they packed the box really well.
Congrats on all the lovely stuff you've picked up recently by the way. The Star Wars, Bionic Man, Energized Superman and Etch-O-Sketch bits looked superb. I'm still looking out for an Ideal Energized Spider-Man and a nice Etch-o-Sketch myself, along with some Mattel Slime. That would near enough complete my collection give or take a few pieces.
He he sorry about that! I had a bunch of bids in, didn't really expect many to survive and in the end I only picked up one item that I'll post in new MEGO aquisitions when it arrives. That's awesome that there might be more coming down the line, let's not mention it to anybody at the Museum, they'll all want something. Doh! :silly:
Will
Collector or an illness? this piece could sway the argument somewhat....

Cap: "Ugh! The Red Skull has made my abdomen transparent with the Cosmic Cube!"
Man, that is all kinds of wrong. Perfect opportunity to throw Hawkeye in there and make it a "Hawkeye Archery Set".
But I love it because it's so wrong!
chris
Yeah the art is just awful and Larami used this guy for all the Cap products that year.
I finally got another GI Joe Firefly complete with phone to replace my old broken/lost one from when I was a kid. Complete with file card, nice condition with one loose knee. For $15 shipped, I can't complain. He's one of the coolest figures from that line.
More of my luck over the weekend, I actually found figures I needed at the flea market.
http://www.megomuseum.com/dump/unimonsters.jpg
Nice flea market find, even the pretty, lime green glow Creature.
I haven't tested but I think they're all glow figures. Which means they're staying put.
oooh, nice monsters. And glow to boot.... lovely.
Nice pick-ups B. I never seeom to have that kind of toy luck at a flea market.
Nice figures! They're on my wants list if I can ever find them for cheap. Good stuff!!!
Checked them last night, all glow guys, that seemed to make it sweeter...
Those Glow in the Dark Monsters are Killer. That line has always been a favorite of mine :beaming1:
Sammy
Nice, I never had any of the glow ones, only the regular ones. Gotta love glow in the dark monster toys. :)
That creature REALLY glows compared to the others.
I only had the Frankenstein when i was a kid, i remember he was the last one left at the clearance isle in Toys r us in 1987
I love Remco Monsters . Nice find ! I have all of the mini monsters Glow and Non Glow except the glow Mummy and Creature . Eventually I have to add those two. I love seeing reople getting great items at Flea Markets . I sadly never find anything that good. However I did Score nice Item Recently , As as soon as get a pic I'll post it.
