Had to add the infamous mayo....hahaha
Man, I do love that Metropolis Playset.
Here's a few of my recent grabs...

The next couple are more toy related, than actual toys. A couple of vending machine header cards. I'm super geeked about the second one...

the one i got have is the 19" does not talk......man now i want a talking one:( and yes the phone is heavy
Is it me or does spidey have a web grin on the box?
It's actually a sort of helicopter. The blade connects to the grey capsule and rotates. Spidey rides in this capsule. Also includes a zip line for Spidey.
There is also a packaging variation that utilizes the same box, but has a different insert that allows for the capsule door to be displayed opened with spidey seated inside the copter capsule.
Wow Chris, you've been on a tear lately! Nice stuff!
that is an awesome popy spider toy!!
and the flicker header with spidey hangin' next to WW. That is funtastic!!!

I had this lovely can of Slime arrive in the post today. I missed out on one over 3 years ago and finally had another chance to pick one up recently. Talk about hard to find! The last lot I had in the 70s only lasted 2 days after I dropped it in the dirt, so I think this one will stay sealed :)

Congrats Bill, I know you've been on the hunt for a while.
This thread continues to deliver!
Love the Popy Spidey Chris, hadn't seen that before, and that Mr Action and Joe related stuff is always cool to see.
But Bill, you have me insanely jealous :-) Congrats!!!

Another Popy Spidey pick up...

Damn, you're killing me with the Popys. :smiley1: I've always had my eye on this one because it has both Spidey and Leopaldon. NIce grab!
Thanks. I think this completes the boxed playsets. I love this area of the hobby. The Japanese TV series is definitely not for everyone, but they made a ton of super cool merchandise.

I'm so happy you bought those POPY sets! I was watching for a long time and got trigger happy on many an occasion. Glad to see they are in good hands. CONGRATS!
I love that show and subsequently all it's merchandise. I'll never own it but I like to admire...

thanks for keeping it going guys, i've been neglectful on my part.
not too much in the way of action figures etc, I've mostly been collecting vintage kids stuff like 60's vinyl cats/dogs/animals and anything I refer to as "uber-cute" (kewpie type stuff), really not the type of thing I could ever see myself getting into, but with plans of having a baby in the next year, I've started to see some toys with a new perspective.
I did pick up 4 pieces of die-cast UFO COMMANDER 7 that I'll post photos of when I get a chance (aka remember my password to photobucket).
