    Anything Muppet

As I get older, I'm starting to look a lot more like that anything muppet.

Me and my brother would've killed for this. We used to make our own muppets out of foam, fabric, ping pong balls for eyes, and a folded paper plate for the mouth.

I think the anything muppet is a young Herbert Birdsfoot!
If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.

i had the Bert, Ernie and Cookie Monster. B & E had HARD heads and hands that you could really whack yourself with if you weren't careful. I seem to recall busting my own lip with them.

I fed my Cookie Monster puppet actual cookies...which of course just led to crumbs falling down my shirt sleeve.

I picked up another Ernie when my kids were little, and played with both of them with him. Good times.

You were supposed to use the cardboard cutout cookies on the back of his box.
And yeah, Bert and Ernie's heads and hands were a bit hazardous.

Ha! I found my Bert & Ernie puppets in my parents garage last month. I cleaned them off and game em to my 1 year old. He loves them. The hands are long gone but the rubber heads and cloth shirts have held up remarkably well.

Those early Topper edition color display boxes are awesome!! Not only did you get cookies for CM, but Oscar had a trash can, and you could use the TV display on the back to have your own puppet shows!

I had Oscar, although I think it was a different toy company, not sure, looks the same, brought him to preschool
when the other kids brought there's, I still remember I was the only one with Oscar, the other kids all had different
ones, which I loved since it made me feel cool.

Now ask me what I did yesterday, I'll try to remember.
