::::::::SPOILERS, SO BE WARNED!!::::::::
OK. So we got our first part of the the FLASH/ARROW crossover and I can honestly say I enjoyed it; it felt just comic booky enough to me to appeal to the little kid in me. Unlike some crossovers that shows have done, it didn't feel forced; there was a welcome synergy to the two teams meeting as well as a healthy dash of humor. I laffed my butt off at Diggle's reaction to the Flash's speed and, yeah, ogled appropriately as poor Felicity literally lost the shirt off her back! I also loved the little digs at giving villains their names and Ollie's reaction thereto. I enjoyed the fight between them as well and thought they handled it with as much "real world" gravitas as possible.
I am intrigued by the woman Ollie ran into and Felicity asking Caitlin for help in tracking down Sara's killer almost ensures another crossover down the road.
I liked the fact that Wells figured out that Ollie was the Arrow, proving that perhaps Quentin Lance isn't as good a detective as he thought he was! LOL!
Oh, and it was nice to see what I presumed to be a brief cameo by Firestorm? One can only presume that when he somehow fuses with Professor Stein, the character will gain more stability and can become a hero as opposed to a villain.
What'd y'all think?
