Secret Wars Mail Away Sets

These are the newest edition to my collection! Very happy about these. With the New Jumbo Secret Wars coming out, I wanted to post these.

These came up on eBay and I've never seen these before. Had to have them. Always buying Secret Wars figures if anyone ever wants to sell.

Those are sweet! Where would the mail in offer itself be found? Is that like a JC Penny thing, or a promotional offer on the cards? Anybody know?

I've been meaning to get a Secret Wars fig or two for the collection. Need to get around to that.

The Boxes are my absolute favorite thing about these. The fact that you could order these is amazing to me.

These were Mattel Catalog orders if I'm not mistaken. I never have seen a Mail order on a back of an actual card.

I had these as a kid. I am 99% sure they are from Sears catalog.
My grandmother worked for Sears, she got an employee discount, and I always got Sears catalog items from her at Christmas.
I was slightly bummed they didn't come in the standard packaging with the cross-sell on the back so I didn't know who else was in the assortment.
But having a grandmother who picked out cool toys was awesome.
