    Totally geeking out on Arrow

I watched part of the pilot when it first aired and thought it was going to be just another 20-something soap opera and I didn't make it through the first episode. I recently started watchin on Netflix and I am hooked big time. This is so much more well written than Smallville and has so many nods to the DCU without going down corny road. I'm about seven episodes into season two and plan to finish up this week. It's really pretty awesome to see the slow build of a television universe of heroes and villains.

Okay, now a question. How do I go back and watch season three eps without hjaving to pay amazon 5.99 for each? Same with Flash. I thought that actor really nailed the part of Barry, though it's a departure an established character. I was seriously impressed with him. He's have made a helluva Peter Parker.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I'm so behind on Arrow. I need to get the 2nd season DVD/BluRay and catch up.

On Demand would be your best bet, Scott, if your cable company has it. CW's not on my cable company on Demand service. You'll really enjoy Routh as Ray Palmer. His portrayal reminds me a bit of Mark Cuban.

Putting nostalgia behind, I think as a whole Arrow is the best super hero show produced in terms of being entertaining and embracing the comic lore but not being hampered by it.

It really was smart of them to tell Ollie's backstory on and off the island in flashbacks.

After two episodes, Flash has been great, too, and could surpass Arrow, but I'm more of a fan of Flash.

I think one advantage Arrow has is that Green Arrow isn't an iconic character a least to the degree of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hulk and Spider-Man, so the expectations aren't as high and there is more freedom with a less well known character.
