    Building a Batcave

When I originally heard that FTC wouldn't be producing a Batcave for the Batman 66 figures, I was disappointed.
I then realized that it would be better to keep these displayed in a display case anyway.
I mean, I've wanted Mego styled figures of this show since 1975 and we may never see them again so I don't want them ruined.
I then thought that maybe I could have my cake and eat it too by building a cave in one of the shelves in my display case.

This is a work in progress and not even close to being finished.
The bad side of this is that I don't have enough room to build the entire Batcave set and some things (like the Atomic Pile) will have to be left out.
However, I think that I'll be able to do enough to get the point across.

Anyway, here is just one thing that I've been working on.
I took it out of the display case and placed it on the Kitchen table to get better photos.

It'd be great just to get more display bits like the poles or computers. Nice work.

Great job! That's looking very cool thus far. I like the look of the pads on the Bat Poles. Neat.

any chance for the recipe? I found a working window that will be perfect for climbing scenes with Mego cameos.

Believe it or not, I carved this out of a Styrofoam box.
Once painted, it becomes stiffer than what you expect Styrofoam to be.
The poles and everything else were made from pieces of wood that can be found cheap at stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

I figured out the foam, was just wondering about the landing pads.
