Live audience ratings are in freefall to the point where now half of its audience is DVR. That's fine for cable, but a nightmare for network as the ad rates are much higher and buyers will not want to fork over for a show people are just blasting through its commericals because the storylines aren't that "must see". Case in point - nobody here has even talked about one episode yet, but Gotham, Arrow and Flash get same-day coverage.

So if this thing continues tanking, whatdahell happens to Agent Carter? It gets a nice premiere, I presume, cause Atwell is easy to watch...but then what?

Good episode this week, tells us who Skye's dad is and who she and Raina really are as well.

I have been watching it live as it was conveniently slotted in between The Flash and Sons of Anarchy. I will remain to do so in the second half of the season and I plan to watch Agent Carter live as well. For me, AoS has simply been "good" this season, the high point of AoS this season for me was the introduction of Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse. I was thoroughly disappointed at what happened to Tripp.

Marvel needs to bring its A-game in the second half of the season if it wants to stay competitive (on television) with The Flash, Constantine, Gotham and Arrow. Although, I suspect a build up and tie-in to Age of Ultron to help AoS finish the entire season on a strong note.

I just hope we get to see Kyle Maclachlan at his full monstered out potential.

I had the last two eps on DVR and just watched them a few minutes ago. It had a nice build up and some twists I didn't expect. The thing about this season is you don't ever get to feel a sense of security, the show doesn't let you rest your mind. Ward is good, Ward is bad, Ward is seeking redemption, Ward is a jackass. WHitehall is an awesomely evil f^#k and then gets shot in the back. Kyle escapes by overacting. Raina might be on the good side, then again she has her own agenda. She's lying sometimes, truthful others and she might be an alien. And then they kill trip for no reason at all. It didn't further the story and served no purpose. Nobody saw it coming, but shock value doesn't always have a payoff. It's like it was thrown in as an afterthought. Coulson has, at any given time, like five different agendas much like his former boss.

I like the improvements they've made and the additions to the show, but they better bring it the second half. With the AoU coming up and being linked to it's prologue, there's going to be some munumental pressure to get it right.

the only reason I see for Tripp's death is to show that normal humans couldn't survive the terrigen exposure.

Agreed... We went from interesting characters, action, & intrigue back to whining, worrying, and people sitting around talking.
Skye is an inhuman...get her a costume and get on with it. Please fix the two science kids, kill the annoying Aussie guy, and Freakin' Do Something!!

well next weeks episode deals with Lady Sif again so yeah on that factor.

Just got done watching "Aftershocks." More like "Afteryawns." We waited almost three months for---a snooze fest episode (and a downer at that). I know that AOS can't deliver great episodes every time, but after such a long hiatus, I think they could've come up with something a little better than that. MARVEL may be kicking DC's butt at the Box Office, but with shows like THE FLASH, ARROW, GOTHAM and CONSTANTINE, DC is winning the small screen war.

The one thing you have to remember is Disney will not pull this show unless something major happens. This show provides the sheeople a chance to watch Marvel Cinematic Universe inbetween movies. I expect them to add at least two more shows so that ABC will have a Marvel show going all year long. As far as this show goes they are not looking at the ratings.

Having said that I was a little bored with this weeks episode, and that was due to the fact paced action that happened on Agent Carter. I cannot wait to see more of the Inhumans down the raod.
