Scooby Doo Gold Key Comics at Dollar Tree

Well, not the actual comic books, but I found this pretty cool cd-rom for a buck at Dollar Tree.

    $_1.jpg

It has the first 20 issues of the 1970S Gold Key comic book on it. Many of these are hard to find in good shape, and they are COMPLETE in color on the cd. INCLUDING all the old toy ads! Of particular interest is issue #15 with the complete Kenner toy insert ads.
There is also some character pages from Hanna Barbera detailing the Mystery Inc crew (I did not know they were only 16 years old?!). and some puzzle pages, and a link to the current Scooby.com page. Also if you so wish you can print the comics out to read.
They advertise a similar Looney Tunes cd on the package, but I didn't see one of those. I'll maybe try another store.

That is cool! Will take a look at the ones by me and see if they have this.

Thanks for posting this! My daughter is Scooby-obsessed. She'll love this! She has a subscription to Scooby Doo Team-Up, so this is right up her alley!

So I hit another Dollar Tree this morning and I found the Looney Tunes cd, with the first 20 issues of the 1975 Gold Key comic book.
And then I found another one... Star Trek the Movies!
It has the 18 issue Marvel series, the four DC movie specials (ST 3,4,5,6), STNG series Finale special, ST Generations, & Marvel First Contact special!
That's a lot of final frontier!
Kinda makes me wonder if there is a Gold Key Trek cd out there floating around. If anyone finds anything different let us know!

In the electronics area on the bottom shelf under the headphones and phone jacks. They were mixed in with the assorted dvds. Etc, they come in a dvd style box. There were only a couple of each cartoon & only one Trek

After searching two Dollar Trees, we managed to find the Transformers and Looney Tunes CDs. Scooby was our goal, but for a buck, why not? My daughter is Scooby-obsessed, so she was a bit bummed. But the search continues!

There are no dollar stores around here. Could anyone burn Looney Tunes and Scooby for me? Please?

I seen a few Looney Tunes, Transformers, and Bettie and Veronica and Archie comics, no Scooby-doo though. I went for a couple bagged comics instead.

My DT doesn't carry any dvd\cd's.
I just finished downloading a bunch of Scooby comics, Gold Key, Marvel & a couple of Charlton and others - 1.7gb worth.
