New Mattel Secret Wars variant discovered!

I can't believe I discovered a new variant as big as the black clawed Wolverine!

I picked up a second Electro...one of the European releases and discovered the lightning bolt pattern on his chest is completely different from the standard, and his head is molded in black plastic instead of the standard green. Every pic I could find shows Electro with a green head. This is the only black one I've ever seen. It's pretty cool because both versions have a painted black collar, and the rest of the head should be black as well to be comic accurate. I can only assume Mattel started molding the heads in black but then switched to green to cut costs since the rest of the figure is molded in green.

It's worth 20-50% more than the silver clawed version depending on whether it's loose or carded.

Very cool...how about the lightning bolt pattern on yours? I looked up all the online Secret Wars resources I could find and there's never been any mention of this variation. Personally I think it's way cooler than the Wolverine variant because the actual figure itself is different, not just the accessory, as is the case with Wolverines claws.

Lightning bolt on the chest seems to be identical to yours (black head Electro).

But the yellow of his left cuff seems to sweep up a bit more (over his arm), like the one on the left. But maybe that's just the perspective of the photo?
