FTC please fix hair on your female figures

Catwoman's hair - messy but ok since it is short
Wondergirl - a complete mess, I can even tell how it is supposed to be styled
Batgirl - no curling and her hair is smashed
When I bought female figures in the Mego era the hair was protected with a clear plastic band and the styling was clean and neat.

These, FTC females look handled and sloppy. Please do a better job with the hair, thank you.

    I know.

When I ordered the first set of new female heads, they arrived in teeny little plastic bags, but no plastic bands for their hair.

Agreed. I'd fully like the hair redone.
The 12" KISS DTK figs are a horrible mess...and at $70 plus shipping each figure, it's hard to swallow.
I've held back buying the 12" peter criss for this very reason.
It can be done....hell, EMCE and Mattel showed us.

I also would like to see tape around the rooted hair figures ,however since figures uses the clamshell collector friendly packages, their
easy to open and fix the hair you self ,when i got Wondergirl ,she looked like she just woke up from a bad dream, her hair was that wild.but
just a little fixing, and she looks great .

The hair looked a lot better in the assembly line photos.

So my WG showed up with some serious bed head. I took her out of the package, pulled off her head, stuck it on a chopstick, pulled her hair down and secured it around the chopstick with a rubber band and steamed it with my fabric steamer for about 3 minutes (you can use the same procedure with a chopstick and simmering water but the steamer is next to my work table so it's easier). I put her head back on and she looks 100% better! And her hair looks longer, too. When I put her back in her package, I put a small clear hair band around her hair/neck to secure it in place and keep it "trained" in that style (thought it isn't necessary after steam styling it). I've actually used this steamer/chopstick trick on all my rooted Mego heads when I re-root or just clean up an original for years now and it works great.

Here's pics of my Batgirl. The right side is a smooshed knot. Granted, she will always wear the helmet so I really don't care. But the DTK KISS figs are a far cry from the prototype hairstyles Farrow did.
Ace and Peter have no bangs, no style. Ace has weird strands that just stick out all over the random place. They styled Paul, but the packaging zip tie ruined it.

Hey guys! When I finally have someone with actual computer skills to show me how to post pics on this website, I'll show you the BEFORE & AFTER pics of my new FTC female figures! They came to me with more than just BAD Hair-Don'ts....they (especially Wonder Girl) came to me after being packaged RIGHT after they were taking a soak in the China factory mego tubs.....that just had a RADIO thrown in! After coming into the Invisiblelad's Mego-FLIP Beauty Academy, & getting crowned w/ my homemade clear headbands, they could walk down the street with their heads held high......well that is IF FTC's teen girl body didn't come w/ a nonexistent neck & if my 3 BATGIRL figs weren't put together INCORRECTLY with their necks assembled WRONG (really really WRONG) that is! That being said....I love them like the long-lost bright RED-HEADED Step-childs (+1 no-Necked blackette) I never wanted! Actually, even with their neck problems...I've dreamed I would someday have a MINTY BATGIRL Again! I never knew what happened to my mego 1 from when I was a very smitten young boy!

EDIT: CUE in FTC Apologists to tell me how I did something wrong to have these figures arrive to me with rat-nests & x3 incorrectly assembled NECKS! & YES...I actually LOVE WHAT FTC has done....I've bought x2 of every WGSH so far! A VERY HONEST Review to date will follow! But all in all....LOVE these figures, which the problems are getting better as far as bodies goes for me personally! .............invisiblelad

I have already brought this matter to FTC. I saw the new Daisy Duke 8" from IFC's Dukes of Hazzard series from the yet to be released new wave and she has the old style mego clear wrap around her Hair. So it looks like the matter is being taken care of.

I'm hoping the Daisy Duke figure doesn't have the ginormous head the original Mego had. Is Daisy's head a new sculpt, more resembling Catherine Bach?
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

That is great news, thank you. Can you spill the beans on everything you know? Any new unproduced figures coming, like Hawkman?
