I always thought Amazing Spiderman 136 was the most iconic Spiderman cover ever. Amazing Spideerman 100 is also pretty epic too. Secret Wars 8 is a classic too."Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you." -
Wow, no ASM #50 or #100 ? But MTU #11 and #93 make the cut? Well, they are your picks, I guess, but ...Comment

These were the Spidey comic covers that influenced me as a kid.
MTU #93 scared me and I thought about it for weeks when I first saw it in my cousins basement.
MTU #11 looked like one of the greatest and most anticipated stories ever..."The Most Long-Awaited Battle in the History of Comicdom!" I was instantly sold!!Last edited by Mego Superboy Prime; Apr 22, '14, 6:49 PM.Comment

The first Tarantula cover must have been a hit, because they basically copied it two more times:
Off the top of my head when I think of great Spider-Man covers I automatically think of Amazing Fantasy #15, AMS #50, ASM #100, ASM 121 --- I guess they're probably more conventional favorites, so it's cool that you did something different with your list.
ASM #55 "Doc Ock Wins!" - is another HUGE favorite of mine.
ASM #54 is no slouch either:
