Invisible Girl and the dreaded Grey Head?

Will all 1979 Sue's grey eventually? I hate the grey. Absolutely detest it. I want to get a Sue, but I don't want any greying.
Should I avoid any Pin Pin cards? Are they worse than regular US version 1979 cards?

Furthermore, if she is not grey now, is there still a chance of it happening?? Say, I buy a loose Sue that looks good. Can she still grey eventually??
    Any help is appreciated.

I think that if she hasn't turned grey by now, she never will.

Unless, of course, Reed is caught cheating on her. That would turn anybody grey...

Btw, my Sue is grey as well, and yes, it looks awful...

You will need to get an early release of Sue to avoid the gray--a boxed one is much more reasonable than one on an early type-two card.

I have two IGs from boxes and they are as tan as can be.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

^So true--it's a great sculpt. If the new "Gals" CTVT heads do as well as they should, maybe CTVT would consider doing "Sue" in true blonde, auburn, etc.

Personally, I would like to try one as Poison Ivy.

            I'd definitely multiple buy.

Especially if they are done in more "realistic" hair colours.

              IIRC...

all zombie heads are Pin-Pin, but not all Pin-Pin's become zombies.

I've never seen a boxed IG zombie, or a carded one for that matter. I'm sure some carded have become zombies, but not at the Pin-Pin ratio.

I also have a boxed one that's fine, that I've had for a few years now. I would say though if you bought a loose one that look good you should be OK. No reason for it suddenly go grey as it would have already.

I absolutely agree! I would buy scads of them.

The one IG that I have was bought loose, is tan as the day she was made and seems to be showing not signs of greying. Would that indicate that she was maybe a boxed version?

My experience has been that the boxed FF are made with more stable vinyl; I believe this is also true of the first releases of second-issue cards. (Dumbledor & Ben H. can probabaly verify this. )

Later second-issue cards, like Pin-Pins, used cheaper materials & this results in the "zombification." I have even seen blue heads (Cap & Batman) on '78 cards with vinyl exudate.

I really do wish Dr Mego or CTVT would do a repro of the Invisible Girl head with different hair colours.

The Wonder Woman/Isis/Batgirl/Supergirl head just does nothing for me.
