    1975 Transogram Catalog

Transogram isn't really a company I know much about, mostly because to my knowledge they never made action figures. However in 1975, they sure made a lot of things kids liked such as Doctor kits, target sets and Drum kits. Licenses include Planet of the Apes and a whole bunch of oddball M*A*S*H items I doubt were made.

I had a doctor's kit w/ 3 slots in the side of it for the "pill bottles" (filled w/ little candies). I guess no one thought of the dangers of kids thinking medicine was candy back then. I remember finishing it in like 3 days. But I like using my dolls as patients.

Is the Alan Alda cartoon-y art work by Jack Davis? Hard to tell, but he did so much stuff back then.

I love the Monte Carlo game set. Does that come with candy cigarettes, a plastic whiskey tumbler with sippy cup lid and a junior-size smoking jacket complete with ascot?

^I was thinking Jack Davis too. From here it's either him, or someone apeing his style.

That Uncle Sam bank makes me wonder if all of these old ones you see at flea markets and antique malls are really that "old". Maybe they were made by Transogram!
