I am going through that phase in life where you start to remember a toy you had, begin searching for it, see it and say "wow, that is it", sit and have memories of the fun you had, then begin a quest to buy it. I had a castle in the 70's. Didn't know who made it, what it was called, but finally found it and bought it. Here it is:

I know the feeling. There is a set of clear lego like building blocks that I've been searching for for a few years. Still don't know what they're called, but when I see em I'll know.

Only thing missing is the knights.

Yup, your memory is good, and a set of stairs that go down in. There is another on EBay, not in as good a condition, but not bad. Just ordered a bag of knights to go with it.
